This is one fantastic commission, where I finally got a chance to paint Death Dealer, high fantasy character that I always loved. It is also a tribute to the one and only Frank Frazetta, the father of Death Dealer character, and the biggest fantasy artist who inspired generations of artists and illustrators!
Although it took me a ,long time to finish this, I had free will to make it as I wanted to. So of course, I added crackled stone bordure with some knotworks, decorative memento mori elements (like those skulls around the center frame) etc.
